Borneo Post: "Hope Place Donates New Mattresses To Families Caring For OKUs" (Keratan Akhbar)


KUCHING: Hope Place, a welfare non-governmental organisation (NGO), recently donated mattresses to Hospital Sentosa for the use of its patients who are individuals with disability (OKUs) as well as their families.

NGO founder Kelvin Wan said he visited the hospital two months ago and was told by its Social Workers Unit that it needed mattresses to accommodate 40 families taking care of the OKUs.

"I also got to visit the families, thanks to the social workers from the hospital. It took us a few weeks to get the mattresses but once we did, we handed them over to Hospital Sentosa Social Workers Unit.

"The staff said they would help deliver mattresses to all the needy families," he said...
